The Acnaut cleansing products can be used according to everyone’s individual preferences, but we most often recommend them for the following conditions:

• Acnaut soap is suitable for very oily skin.
• Acnaut Oxy Wash is suitable for combination skin and can be used on the face and body in case of acne on the back, arms, shoulders, neck, or chest.
• Acnaut Cleansing foam is suitable for sensitive and irritated skin. This makes it an ideal choice even for more severe forms of acne that are painful to the touch. The foam is also an ideal product for removing makeup.

The choice between Acnaut Active Cream and Acnaut Active lotion depends on the type of acne.

• For oily skin with predominantly red pimples with a white purulent tip, we recommend the use of the active lotion.
• For subcutaneous pimples, the appropriate product is the active cream.

For oily skin without pimples or with single breakouts, as well as for teenagers with the first symptoms of acne, we recommend using the mattifying tonic.

Acnaut Repair Creamis designed specifically for this purpose – it soothes and reduces red spots, improving the healing processes in the skin. We recommend using the product only after the acne has been brought under control and there are no active pimples on the skin.

Like most products for problem and oily skin, the active products in the Acnaut range have a drying effect on the skin. That is why we recommend that their daily use be combined with themoisturizing cream Acnaut Hydroactive. It is applied in the morning and at noon, and when using foundation it is applied as a base.

When using the active products of the range (lotion, cream, tonic), it is possible to notice yellowing and peeling or wrinkling on contact with water on the skin of the fingers, without this condition being dangerous. To prevent this effect, we advise you to wash your hands thoroughly with water immediately after using the products or to use gloves.

The range contains a broad-spectrum antibacterial complex (PASC – a powerful antibacterial self-regulating complex) – a patented formula that counters the cause of acne – the bacteria P.acnes. The complex regulates the overproduction of sebum, affects the colonization of bacteria and remedies inflammation.

The ingredients in the Acnaut range do not cause photosensitivity and do not lead to habituation (bacterial resistance), which allows the products to be applied all year round if necessary.

You can use the products in the range for as long as necessary – they are not induce resistance and remain effective even with long-term use.

Acne-prone skin needs special care throughout your entire life. Therefore, after bringing acne under control and clearing the skin of pimples, we recommend that the skin be maintained with a proper routine with Acnaut products to ensure proper cleansing, control of sebum secretion (oiliness) and hydration.

If you have pimples with a purulent tip, you can gently squeeze the pimple with well washed hands. Then be sure to treat the area withAcnaut Active Lotion, applying it 3-4 times a day. This will help the lotion to penetrate deep into the skin, reach the bacteria and prevent pigmentation and scarring of the affected area.

The effect of the products is strictly individual and depends on the type and stage of development of acne, your diet, general health, etc. If you strictly follow the appropriate routine, you will see the first visible results within 7 to 10 days. Keep in mind that problem skin requires daily and constant care until you manage to completely control and eliminate the acne, which can sometimes take several months.

The active products in the Acnaut range help control excessive oiliness, which in turn reduces blackheads. If oily skin with blackheads is the only condition, anexfoliating Pure Skin toniccan be included in the routine for optimal results, which creates a delicate chemical peel and helps break down comedones (blackheads) thus cleansing clogged pores.

Unlike other products for problem and acne-prone skin, Acnaut does not cause photosensitivity. Keep in mind that sunscreens are comedogenic (they could lead to clogged pores), which significantly slows down the results of acne therapies. Our advice is during the first weeks of using Acnaut, to protect your skin from the sun with physical means – a hat, clothes, or a scarf, instead of sunscreen.

You can apply make-up while undergoing therapy with products from the Acnaut range, but this would slow down the effect of the products, as foundation and colored creams (BB & CC cream) have a comedogenic effect (i.e. they clog pores). Therefore, for optimal results, we recommend that you stop or at least limit the use of makeup for a while.
